If you are viewing my biography, you may be seeking someone you can trust or someone to confide in to process your life situation. I am a first-generation Chinese American. Prior to the journey of becoming a therapist, I worked in the hospitality industry for years, transitioned to a local government job and then became a stay-at-home mother. Looking back on my life, I learned that life is a journey filled with both joy and trouble. All of us face problems in living. There are times we feel lost, we suffer hopelessness, and we cannot get through by ourselves. I believe that therapy is a way to help living life to its fullest. Taste and experience it - you will feel so good to be listened to—to know that someone else cares about you and wants to help.
I offer a safe, comfortable, supportive and judgment-free space where clients may engage in self-exploration and effectively address their issues. Base on my prior lay counseling experience and my multicultural background, the focus areas I well suited for are working with childhood trauma, premarital counseling, relationship, marriage & family issues.
I am one of the active coworkers of my home church and local community. The areas of the ministry I am leading are Church Community Outreach and the Intercultural Marriage Study group. I have worked as a lay counselor in Childhood trauma, Children and youth mental health development and marriage and family care. In my spare time, I enjoy DIY art crafts, reading, cooking and gardening.
