Post covid-19 visitor protocols

Continuing to Keep You Safe Post-Coronavirus Pandemic

Discovery Counseling Center complies with all city, county, state, and federal mandates and protocols to ensure our client's health, safety, and confidentiality are protected.

Discovery provides both in-person and telehealth services.
To obtain services in person, clients must agree to take certain precautions that will help protect everyone from illness, including COVID-19 exposure and sickness.

1.  If you, or anyone you are bringing to Discovery for services, are feeling unwell, or have been exposed to any sickness, including COVID-19, please STAY HOME.
2.  If you have had a fever or diarrhea within
 24 hours, please STAY HOME.
3.   If you discover that you u
nknowingly exposed your therapist to an illness, please notify your therapist immediately so they may stop the spread to other clients.

In each instance, contact your therapist immediately.
You may choose to have a telehealth session or reschedule your session.

A sick therapist means reduced services to the community.

In accordance with Santa Clara County and State of California guidelines, indoor masking is no longer required.  Please mask at your own comfort level.

There is LIMITED waiting in the lobby.  To protect client confidentiality, as well as our client, therapist, and admin team health, caregivers are asked to wait outside after 15 minutes.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

As always, if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to Covid-19 or any illness, please notify your therapist and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

Rest assured, common contact surfaces are regularly disinfected and air purifiers are available for therapy rooms.

The Discovery team is praying for our community and wishes you and your family peace, good health, and safety.
