As someone who grew up here in Morgan Hill, I'm thrilled to be able to work in the community in which I was raised. I grew up playing youth soccer and pony baseball here and attended St. Catherine's Church. After originally getting a Bachelor's degree in psychology, I made a detour into teaching. I was a substitute teacher in Morgan Hill Unified School District for 5 years before getting my full teaching credentials. After that, I taught middle school for 5 years before eventually leaving the teaching profession to pursue my original goal of being a therapist. I loved teaching, but I feel that therapy is truly where I am meant to be. That being said, I definitely understand the stresses of school life, for both the students AND teachers. I highly value the perspective I gained while I was a teacher. During my years of teaching, I also coached sports. I coached high school lacrosse for 4 years in San Jose, and I coached middle school soccer and baseball for 2 years. Currently, my hobbies are making music, spending time with my 2 dogs, playing ice hockey, going to the gym, and reading both fiction and nonfiction.

I am an associate therapist and a 2022 masters graduate of the JFK School of Psychology at NU. I attained a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Holistic Counseling.

One of the most important things to me as a therapist is also something that was a top priority for me as a teacher, and that is forming a safe and trusting relationship with whoever I am working with. Being able to connect with people on an authentic level is a huge part of what makes this work so rewarding. I am passionate about social issues and am a proud LGBTQ+ ally.

My style is rooted in "Person-Centered Therapy", and strongly depends on the therapeutic connection between client and therapist. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy if the situation calls for it. I put the most emphasis on the relationship and rapport between the client and myself.

I am currently accepting clients for individual therapy (over the age of 14), couples therapy, and family therapy.

I only work with clients in person.
