I currently work in education as a district crisis counselor. I teach psychology and counseling classes at the university level. I teach parenting classes and work in collaboration with a life coach to support child wellness. My professional background allows me to approach care with an understanding of developmental, academic, and systemic factors that impact individuals and families.
I provide services to children, adolescents, and couples, with an emphasis on building trust, fostering resilience, and supporting positive change. My work focuses on goal setting, strengthening relationships, resolving conflict, and addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational challenges. I work with children and adolescents presenting with anxiety, mood-related concerns, ADHD, school refusal, peer conflict, behavioral challenges, and adjustment to life transitions. Interventions are individualized and informed by evidence-based and skill- and play-based techniques as clinically appropriate. I collaborate closely with clients to identify strengths and values while exploring underlying patterns that contribute to ongoing concerns.
My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and individualized, I meet the client where they are at. I draw from a variety of evidence-based theories and techniques to meet each client’s unique needs.
