Life is a journey characterized by continuously evolving and adapting that leads to identity formation across one's lifespan. How we evolve and grow is what shapes the trajectory of our lives and contributes to a sense of overall well being, affects our psychological functioning and defines the health/depth of our relationships. 

Developing insight into personal responsibility and choice is a critical component of this process and can at times be overlooked or obscured by distressing experiences or symptoms.

I believe that psychotherapy can serve as an effective intervention for examining and restructuring maladaptive narratives that no longer support an individual’s psychological health or developmental needs. Through treatment, clients are supported in processing internal conflicts, trauma-related experiences, and emotional distress that may be contributing to impaired functioning and/or reduced agency. My hope is to provide a structured and collaborative space to promote emotional regulation, identity development, and adaptive coping.

My approach to therapy is a collaborative and ethically grounded process that prioritizes safety, trust, and clinical attunement. My work emphasizes resilience-building, identification of individual strengths and internal resources as foundational components of treatment. I aim to support clients in developing a cohesive sense of self that is not defined by diagnostic labels or past trauma.

I have clinical experience working with adolescents and adults presenting with trauma-related concerns, severe mental health symptoms, and complex psychiatric diagnoses. I utilize a strengths-based and person-centered approach to help individuals understand their experiences without allowing diagnostic labels or trauma histories to define their sense of self or future functioning.
