“Who do my friends go see?”, I asked myself when I discovered that it was OK for men to see a therapist instead of stuffing every emotion other than anger. The world tells us to pick ourselves up by our bootstraps and toughen up. That very idea can crush the most hardened of individuals from the inside out. My hope for clients is that they receive the deep reclamation of their own belovedness that has been stripped away from them by the multitude of life’s burdens.
