John Mark Kane

I am a relationships focused therapist because I am convinced that we are all wired to be in relationship and that healthy relationships with people is one of the most powerful antidotes to depression, anxiety, and addictions. Healthy relationships are also a powerful healing agent for those suffering from Trauma.

I work with individuals, couples, and parents to help them overcome various mental health challenges by experiencing fulfillment in their life and relationships and through the development and use of skills and supports that increase health and well being. For both couples and families, I like to integrate aspects of Emotion Focused Therapy into the work we do together.

Area of Focus

• I specialize in online therapy with several areas of focus that include: couples, dating relationships, pornography, parenting, anger management, anxiety, depression, and teenagers.

Education

• Prior to my Master's degree, I had 8 years of experience working in a paraprofessional role for a Mental Health Agency, working with children and families. I obtained my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2018.
