Personal Information
A personal perspective on therapy:
I believe therapy is a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement and with active listening. I'm here to help you feel heard, understood, and supported with compassion, empathy, and authenticity during the most vulnerable moments together. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling "stuck," we'll work together to uncover your strengths and create meaningful change. My goal is to help you not only cope but thrive — building resilience, clarity, and self-compassion along the way.
Approach to Therapy
My therapeutic approach is warm, grounded, compassionate, and client-focused collaborative. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices while keeping our sessions grounded in empathy and real-life application. I also take a strength-based perspective, supporting clients in building insight and awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience from their own inner resources and lived experiences. I approach each client holistically, considering the biological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual factors that shape their experiences. I am open to stay curious to learn, grow and develop continually my clinical tools to deepen my ability to meet clients where they are at and to serve their unique needs.
Expected Growth/Change from Therapy
I believe therapy is a journey of building insight and awareness, healing, , and empowerment. Clients can expect to develop deeper self-understanding, coping strategies/tools, and move toward greater emotional, mental and spiritual wholeness.
Area of Focus
I work with children, young adults, adults, and families navigating a range of emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity development, trauma, life transitions (school, graduation, new/loss jobs, etc.), behavioral, and personal empowerment counseling. I am also passionate about supporting children and families through the unique challenges they face. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy.
