“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” - Brene Brown
I truly believe I was born to be a “helper” to others, which drives my intense passion for being a therapist! I am also no stranger to internal and relational pain, suffering, trauma and loss, followed by my own therapy that I can only describe as positively life-altering. Often times a space filled with empathy and freedom from judgement provides us just the room we need to begin to confront the truths in our lives. We can then see and present ourselves in more authentic ways, allowing us to connect more fully with those we care about and the world around us.
I work primarily with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are suffering with issues related to self-worth, communication, anger, resentment, grief, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, and feelings of doubt, shame and “stuckness”. I offer a caring yet direct approach, with the intention of maximizing your awareness and growth. My hope is that, if you decide I am the right therapist for you, together we can explore the paths that will bring you to a greater understanding of yourself, relief from your pain, and closer to your purpose, meaning and connections with others.
