I find it a privilege to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, during periods of growth, transition, or challenge in their lives. My approach to therapy is primarily psychodynamic and depth-oriented, incorporating attachment theory, object relations, narrative therapy, and family systems. I believe we are wired for connection but breaks or ruptures in relationship to ourselves and others can lead to depression, anxiety, numbing, distorting, shame, anger, addictions, and compulsions. I focus simultaneously on attending to clients’ immediate symptom relief but also on the underlying ties to past experiences, wounds, and strongholds in a way that can bring full lasting transformation, healing, and wholeness to their present and futures.
I believe the therapeutic process should be one that is collaborative. I seek to provide a safe environment where clients feel understood, listened to, seen, and free to explore areas of their life where they desire healing, change, personal development, restoration and deepening of human relationships. I long to support, equip, and empower clients in ways that allow them to live fully into their lives authentically and wholeheartedly.
