One of my greatest passions in life is connecting with people. This includes individuals, couples, parents, families, and groups. I invite you to come as you are. You do not have to pretend or manage your image. My desire is to build a safe space where you are free to be you. We all have a story that is worthy of honor and respect. Our time together will be rooted in acceptance, comfort, encouragement, and emotional connection. I believe this is the best environment for personal growth, self-reflection, learning, and healing.
I enjoy helping people overcome a variety of mental health challenges. I am especially passionate about working with people that have experienced emotional abuse. Honoring our stories and processing our trauma can be extremely difficult yet rewarding. I have a variety of tools available to help with this. One of my favorites is using Expressive Arts Therapy. Journaling, poetry, rap, song-writing, and other forms of creative writing have a profound way of helping us to experience self-expression, achieve insight, increase self-esteem and self-awareness. I also enjoy using Emotion Focused Therapy and CBT. I will take your preferences and goals into consideration and customize our time accordingly.
