I believe it is possible to experience a greater degree of peace, freedom, and emotional healing in life. I have seen therapy be a vital part of the journey to experiencing healthier relationships with oneself and others. I’ve come from a background of working with adolescent and young adult populations as they navigated life transitions, family tensions, depression, anxiety, and crises of spiritual faith and beliefs, as well as a background of providing case management for adults with severe mental illness diagnoses in residential and outpatient mental health settings. Through these experiences I’ve come to see my role as providing a safe, encouraging space to process life’s difficulties as well as to support and empower people as they move forward.
Area of Focus
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families of a wide range of ages. I have a special heart for those struggling with trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, identity, faith/spirituality related struggles, and relationship issues.
I received my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage Family and Child Counseling from Fresno State University in December 2018 and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Monterey Bay in December 2008.
