Lin’s approach in therapy is focused on empowering the client. The experience that the therapist and client share may include exploring oneself and the world around us, discovering new perspectives, and learning new tools that may be taken into real world situations.
With a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Education from the University of California Santa Barbara, Lin is currently completing her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University.
Lin has experience working with people going through anxiety and depression, and has worked with a broad range of ages. She has a background and specialized training in mindfulness and offers these approaches in her therapy. Mindfulness practice is ideal for cultivating greater awareness of the unity between mind and body, as well as of the ways the unconscious thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can undermine emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
