A solution if you can not affordable counseling

Many people are in life situations where they cannot afford the cost of a professional therapist.

Discovery Counseling Center is a non-profit counseling center dedicated to training new upcoming therapists in the field. Each therapist must accumulate 3000 hours of supervised therapy before they can even apply for their state license. Therapists accumulate these hours as an Intern working under supervision at a site like Discovery. The advantage to you is that they have recently graduated with their Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and charge much less than the normal and customary fee of a licensed therapist.

Before graduating and before registering with the state as an Intern, each Master's Degree student must accumulate 250 hours of therapy as a trainee. These students also work at Discovery and provide services at half the Intern's rate.
