Our Mission

Our mission is to provide resources for navigating life through affordable, professional counseling, and to provide workshops, and seminars to schools, churches, and other community groups.

Discovery seeks to accomplish this mission by:

• Providing skilled counselors who are either licensed, interns, or trainees (those working toward licensure).  These varied skill and experience levels allow Discovery to provide a wide range of services affordable to every budget.
  

• Providing community family and marriage workshops for various family dynamic issues such as emotional stress, anxiety, anger, divorce, child behavior problems, blended family problems, addiction, fear and guilt, grief, etc.
  

• Providing affordable counseling and life skills training programs to the disadvantaged in our community. Currentlly, Discovery is providing these services through the Bridge Project and at Central High School with the hopes of expanding to a wider community base.
